Keep Up With Your Gym Schedule This Fall

Now that the summer is over and autumn is coming, everybody is signing up for gym classes and start their new fitness regime.  It is proven that more than 70% of the people who start with their fitness regime give up.  How to keep up with your gym regime and not give up after the second week?  Here are some tips that might help you with your motivation.

1.Chop Your Goals

Splitting your goals into several smaller ones will help you be consistent and will keep you motivated. Make monthly and 2-week goals that are easily achievable and you will not lose your motivation.

2.Do A Grocery Shopping List

Make a list of the most important things you need to buy and try to stick to it. Don’t buy unnecessary chips and sweets and keep them home.  Buy fresh vegetables, fruits, and proteins such as eggs, poultry and fish and good carbohydrates such as brown rice, quinoa, and sweet potatoes.

3.Do Your Meal Prep Before Bed

One of the most common reasons for giving up on you gym schedule is not being able to keep up with your eating regime. Try to prep your food before you go to bed or on Sunday so that you don’t indulge in unhealthy foods during the following day/week.

4.Have A Cheat Meal Day

No matter how much you want to achieve your goals, you have to indulge a little.  It is proven that having a cheat meal will keep you more motivated afterward.  Eat your favorite meal such as pizza, pasta or cake once a week and keep following your diet afterward. You will keep balance this way.

5.Be Good To Yourself And Don’t Give Up

Even if you miss a workout of two, or go away from your diet-don’t give up.Keep on going and give you best and be good to yourself. Patience is the key.
