Because you lose electrolytes when you workout, a drink containing watermelon is a good way to replenish them after gym time. Watermelon Juice is refreshing and perfect drink for the summer. Loaded with electrolytes and vitamins, it will keep you hydrated and cool during the hot temperature days. Simply blend or juice cold chunks of watermelon, add a little bit cucumber if you want to make it more refreshing. If you want to add an extra health kick you can also add a pinch of mint.
For an interesting twist to your regular salad, add small chunks of cold watermelon. Watermelon goes great in salads with feta cheese/goat cheese, olives, and tomatoes. You can experiment with other flavors as well and add walnuts or grilled chicken.
3.Make Watermelon Popsicles
Instead of eating your regular ice-cream, make low-calorie watermelon popsicles simply my mixing chunks of watermelon, lime juice and a little bit of honey or agave syrup. Put them into popsicle molds and freeze them for several hours until solid.
