Simple Quinoa Tortillas


Quinoa is one of the healthiest foods on the planet rich in many vitamins and nutrients. It is number one vegan source of protein.  Also, it is used as a side dish, in salads, and even in some desserts and cakes.  Because we all love tortillas, we decided to switch the recipe for you and instead of using a regular flour, we use quinoa flour for added health benefits. This tortilla recipe is very simple and is done in several minutes with just a few ingredients.

1 Cup Quinoa Flour

1 Cup Fresh Filtered Water

1/4 tbs Salt

Whisk together all the ingredients and set your skillet to medium heat. Once it is hot, spray it down and take 3-4tbs of your batter and spread it evenly. Let it cook for until the edges start to come off, flip it and cook for a little bit more around 1 minute.


If you can’t find quinoa flour.  Make it yourself in a food processor by blending quinoa until it turns like a flour.

**Do not flip your tortillas if they are not whole or uneven, or they will break. Try to make a whole tortilla circle with the batter and follow the baking instruction.
